SCOLAR Visits NPGPS

On 9th April, the SCOLAR team visited us for the second time this Academic year. The instructors prepared an informative and entertaining session for our P2 and P3 students. Our P2 students were able to hone their prediction and sequencing skills. They were tasked to discover everyday objects with a close-up image of a picture. They were given clues to find the answer. Next, they were given a ‘Treasure Map’ and read a book called ‘What Can You Spot?’. The objective of the activity was to read the book to identify and solve riddles to find the hidden treasure.
Our P3 students were given a mystery to solve by reading a book called ‘A Curious Case of the Missing Puppet’. Step by step the students read clues and worked together to make sense of the whereabouts of the puppet. The session included puzzles, problem solving activities and designing a replica of the missing puppet. In the end, all of the students became junior detectives!
